Rare Doulton Lambeth Art Pottery Jug By Maud Bowden Slaters Patent

RARE DOULTON LAMBETH ART POTTERY JUG – unusual in its design, as marked its slaters patent (which gives it the textured effect) but the paint scheme is unlike any I’ve seen before – fully marked to the underside it has the MB of maud Bowden amongst others. Interesting pewter lid marked Clarke’s patent, oddly there is a cut present in the rim to accommodate the lid – slight dint to top as pictured – excellent collectible piece.
