Rare Rosa Keen Impasto Hand Decorated Jug Dated 1885 restored

Rosa Keen Impasto Doulton Lambeth Jug. Signed R K to Base. This piece has been restored to the handle and spout/rim, however it is a rare piece. The piece is decorated with blossom and foliage thickly applied and skilfully painted. The base carries an incised R K mark for Rosa Keen along with an impressed Doulton Lambeth mark in oval form with 1885 in centre. The piece also carries the pattern number 928 incised along side the R K. F and two vertical dots indicate Miss Felton who probably produced the pot. This is a very pretty piece and rare.
