Rare Royal Doulton Lambeth Slaters Patent Pub Pitcher or Jug Standing at 8.5 tall by 8.5 inches across at the handle. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks Nor repairs. We have had few of these beautiful pieces over the years. Especially in this pristine condition. Leather bound impressed with the pattern laid in the clay wet & then fired in the kiln, also the stitching as well. The entire piece is hand decorated & painted. The Jug is also known as “Motto Ware” It has a saying around the jug which reads Among Good Fellows Every Toast Will Pass. That Serves To Carry Round Another Glass.
