To the base is the Doulton Lambeth England impressed mark along with incised artist marks for Eliza Simmance and Rosina Brown – c. Exceptional Doulton Lambeth Vase – Persian Design – Eliza Simmance – c. A quite superb Doulton Lambeth bottle shaped vase by Eliza Simmance. The vase, decorated in a Persian Style, has a heavily incised design outlined by numerous applied beads all combining to give the piece a very striking appearance. To the base is the Doulton Lambeth England impressed mark as well as the incised marks for senior artists Eliza Simmance and Rosina Brown, there is a further artists mark which may be that of assistant artist Eliza Stock. A striking example for the discerning collector. 30cm high, 18cm at widest point, 8.5cm at the base, unpacked weight 1.5kg. In good antique condition – mentioned for accuracy are some expected minor abrasions to some of the beads some of which have been professionally filled – also mentioned for accuracy are three fleabite losses to the underside of the rim.
