ULTRA RARE Royal Doulton Lambeth Stoneware Booby TRUMP MARKER Mark V Marshall c. An ULTRA RARE Royal Doulton Lambeth Stoneware Booby Grotesque TRUMP MARKER modeled by Mark V Marshall. This very rare Card Trump Marker from imagination of Mark Marshall was created at the Doulton Lambeth Studios circa 1905. There was interest in creating creatures from fairy tales, dreams and novels during this period. Doulton made few examples of these figures also known as grotesques or booby studies and this particular example is fired in a rich green glaze. In good used antique condition. There are no breaks or cracks. There are a few old chips underneath the base in the slot that houses the rotating marker (they cannot be seen when used), they are shown in the photos.
