A large elongated antique Doulton Lambeth vase by George Tinworth 35cm 1876
A large elongated antique Doulton Lambeth vase by George Tinworth 35cm 1876. Decorated with a central band of foliate scroll & beading, with elongated shoulder & footed form between raised hobnail and bead banding above a lappit border. With a brown ground & blue flower design. George Tinworth excelled in this way of decorating his wares whether large or small. And he always signed his works with his monogram GT upon his designs. His assistants on this occasion were Emma Martin, Louisa Wakely & Lilly Goldsack. NO CRACKS, NO CHIPS or RESTORATION.
