Antique Doulton & Co Limited Lambeth Stoneware Salt 16cm Harvest Jug c. Backstamp: DOULTON & CO LIMITED LAMBETH. 16 x 15 cm. Doulton & Co Limited were manufacturers of stoneware and earthenware at Lambeth, London c. The oval impressed mark on this jug indicates a manufacture date of c. 1870+ with the precious owner having estimated 1880. Very good condition given the items age. No chips, cracks, discolouration or repairs. The previous collector has penciled notes on the base. These have not been removed but could be rubbed off if required.
