Exquisite Hannah Barlow / Emily E Stormer Royal Doulton Vase featuring deer. This beautiful vase is 27cm / 10.5 inches and is beautifully decorated with beadwork at the top and bottom by Emily E Stormer forming a perfect frame for Hannah Barlow’s depiction of a stag and deer grazing and standing in a grassy clearing with trees. A wonderful work of two fine artists. Hannah Barlow as a first artist at Doulton painted the main scenes another artist finished the work. There are various marks on the bottom for the two artists also a impressed number 1, I can’t find reference to what this refers to but may just mean its a 1st quality or be a prototype.
